Correct preparation is paramount in a quality finished product. Our powerwash techniques exceed our competition because we use special spray tips with a ball-valve that enables precise control of the pressure stream. Others do not.
We use no bleach. Bleach dries out wood and can shorten its life. Others use bleach because it is a cheap way out of spending the extra effort to do it carefully. It can also damage plants and other vegetation surrounding the structures.
Your shingles are the first thing people see
Powerwashing shingles can be tricky business. That’s why we take such care in preparing the proper mix to the fluids that do the cleaning. Although bleach is effective in eliminating mildew, it can injure the surface of the material and weaken its constitution.
- Note the care taken with precision equipment
- An even texture is achieved in the process
- All fluids and liquid solutions chosen are friendly to the wood
- No streaking or pitting results from too strong a spray or hasty work
- If powerwashing isn’t right for your particular job, we will tell you so.
We can powerwash just about anything to clean restore and preserve surfaces. We use either a “Weathered Wood Restorer” or Cleaner/Brightener which helps to restore original color to cedar siding shingles, decks, fences, cement landings, sheds, light asphalt driveways, garages, or patios.
Sealing staining or painting cedar shingles or decks helps delay costly replacement or repair. We also suggest sealing your decks every year or two in order to maintain longevity and an attractive new look.
Powerwashing Decks Patios and Fences
Powerwashing a dingy cement patio surface or aged wooden deck can brighten up the appearance of your back yard tremendously. It can also prolong the life of the wood and preserve its surface appearance by removing mold and other growths. If you’re trying to sell a home, having bright surfaces are key to getting your price. We can powerwash fences, driveways, patios, porches, and back yard storage sheds. Sometimes a good powerwash beats scraping and painting that old shed in back and can eliminate that eye sore behind the house.
